Obama the BAD example setter.

And so it goes, Obama said it best when there was some opposing comments from the right side of the isle - When challenged on an issue Obama said...  "I won..."  So I suppose that means "we" lose!

Can someone please explain, short of catastrophic natural disasters and crimes against fellow citizens, why on earth are we being told to rat on each other for expressing our RIGHT of FREE speech?

So the President is a fool on the subject of health care and he wants to prove otherwise, so what.  President Obama is very uncomfortable with his feet being held to the fire and can not accept the notion that all we are doing is doing our duty...  That FREE and RIGHTFUL practice of reporting his missteps and misstatements.

We are doing our job by keeping him and his cronies in check, he on the other hand is overstepping his bounds as President and we are duty-bound to keep the pressure on.

And so what if the protesters are being prodded to protest?  President Obama, are you proposing we be quieted by some measure of force from your team?  I for one won't stand for that madness...

A quick note on the Presidents' example setting - Please STOP setting a bad example of personal health by eating poorly, that might go a long way to your credibility on matters of not just health care (the best of which is found in America) but that seldom addressed subject of SELF-care.

The Reading List

Well the time may just be upon us to experience a losing proposition.  Investor's Business Daily reported today - "Right there on Page 16 is a provision making individual private medical insurance illegal."  (Link to article)

This may or may not be alarming and to the casual observer it may even seem like business as usual in Washington, D.C.  There is however something afoot at the highest levels of our government and it does not even necessitate a conspiracy theorist to deliver the message.

We are in trouble and we know it and we are frozen in our tracks because of the confiscatory financial apparatus that has been and is being bolted down around us.  The promise of money and all it can bring is said to be the opiate of the masses.  While this may be the case it is also the Achilles heel, when out of it or it's being taken away, of the masses and the Obama administration is well aware of this.

Not being one to be an alarmist I retired to my library and did a search for what kind of person or persons would attempt to perpetrate this sort of nullifying of the human spirit.  What type of person would go against the tide of observing the obvious?  What are the mechanics behind the "process of elimination of the drive to be free"?  I found what I was looking for in a book published in 1951 by Eric Hoffer.

"The True Believer" - Thoughts on the Nature of Mass Movements. In section 113 he points out that "A movement is pioneered by men of words, materialized by fanatics and consolidated by men of action."  While it is true that Mass Movements can be good or bad, I think it is not a stretch to think that there are fanatics at the ready, men of action waiting for the word and now the man of words has appeared, whose utterances are about to have the most damaging of effects.

Because of the Orwellian nature of the Obama White House I think (now more than ever) it prudent to stand as stewards of what made this Country great.  Start reading and getting ready for the fight of your lives because the time has come that our Achilles heels are being stretched to the point of snapping and the pain relief Obama has in mind comes by way of the things that money can buy - you jsut don't get to decide how or where to spend the money.

Reading List:

True Believer - Thoughts on the Nature of Mass Movements - Eric Hoffer

Liberty and Tyrrany - Mark R. Levin

1984 - George Orwell (Interesting enough Orwell has mentioned that this book was a look at the political left and its ruinous nature).
